Levy, Taranaki St

Levy Warehouse, Taranaki Street, 1918
Denis Fortune Collection.
Architects: Crichton & McKay

Abraham Levy established a successful clothing manufacturing business, after his death 'A Levy Ltd' was set up (July 1918) with Francis and Benjamin Levy taking equal share holdings. These drawings are signed by 'B Levy' as executor of the Levy Estate.

This small warehouse and shop should not be confused with the 1928 Levy Building that was on the corner of Manners and Taranaki Streets.
